Breast Lump Evaluation

A complete breast exam is included in every annual exam; however, it is important for every woman to perform a self-exam monthly. If you are not sure how to perform a thorough self-exam, ask your physician to teach you how.

If you find any lumps, thickenings, or changes, make an appointment immediately. Most breast lumps are not cancerous, but you don’t know if you don’t ask.
