High-Risk Obstetrics

We manage high-risk pregnancies due to gestational diabetes, placenta previa, incompetent cervix, and pregnancy-induced hypertension. We work closely with other specialists treating our patients to ensure the highest quality and up-to-date treatments.

We have a high-risk team that reviews medical treatments regularly and monitors our treatment plans for each of our high-risk patients to ensure the safest possible pregnancy and delivery. If the team determines that a patient would benefit from a perinatologist, we refer our patients to local specialists.

High-risk deliveries are performed at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, which is both comfortable and well-equipped to handle your medical needs.
