Labor and Delivery

We offer the services, education, support, and care you will need in preparation for and during labor and delivery. Our caring staff is ready to answer your questions and make your new role as mother both comfortable and rewarding. We recommend a birthing class to prepare for your labor and delivery experience (link to birthing class page). We offer a class through our office and also recommend classes at Potomac Hospital. All routine delivers are performed at Potomac Hospital, which is both comfortable and well-equipped to handle your medical needs.

At About Women OB/GYN, midwives are an important part of our practice; however, our midwives attend deliveries only in special instances when the doctors require backup.
