Prenatal care is important to your health and the health of your baby. Once you find out that you are indeed pregnant, you’ll want to begin a regimen that includes quality prenatal vitamins, a healthy, well-balanced diet, proper exercise, proper medications, and routine visits with your healthcare providers.
We recommend that you and your partner be active participants in your pregnancy. To educate our expectant parents, on your first OB visit, we provide a complimentary copy of Planning Your Pregnancy and Birth published by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. This excellent book will serve as a reference guide to the many questions and concerns that arise during your pregnancy, labor and delivery, and post-partum care.
Our midwives are very involved in prenatal care. You may specifically request a to see a midwife for prenatal care when you call to schedule an appointment.
